As a housing organisation, Karbon Homes owns or manages almost 30,000 properties across the North East of England and Yorkshire.
Through a tender process Activ Technology entered a partnership with Karbon Homes, which is now well into its third year.
The team at Activ initially transferred all landlines when Karbon Homes undertook an office move in 2016 and then secured its mobile contract in 2017.
The proactive internal account management team at Activ look after over 1100 mobile SIM connections and offer users a bespoke tariff and portal so that Karbon Homes has access and can review activity.
Activ also oversees all new connections and billing and provides the client with ISDN phone lines and all voice over IP SIP Trunks, essentially securing all call traffic. Additionally, Activ provide the analogue estate for the remote locations for alarms, lifts and connectivity. They are currently adding to this support by providing broadband connectivity to these locations.
Activ also provides residents, suppliers and partners with a central 0300 number facility, which has enabled all calls from all locations to be directed to the correct location seamlessly using complex routing applications at all times of the day.
Social Wi-Fi is being trialled across three of its locations.
